Look what I just had to watch again. Not only Eomer scowling. There's something to be said about having lots of little siblings, especially if they're not many years apart. They all want to watch LOTR when they get big enough. Then you must watch it with them, over and over again untill they all grow older. Good thing I actually like the trilogy. The last eager youngster this time got to watch the extended editions. Her older sister had to watch the theatre versions and then the full movies all over again. Spoiled.
Aragorn has his profound moments, again. I like when he drawls in answer to a question about where they are going: "into the wiillld."
I could never make fun of Gandalf, until this time when I heard him seriously pronounce: "It's the deep breath before the plunge!"
One too many times Legolas sniffs around and pronounces gravely, "The sky is red, and the air smells fowl." Or whatever. I was laughing at the time, i can't be expected to remember his exact syllables.

In the beginning.. when the movies were baby pirated copies, we must have seen all three as they came out one after the other over three times each. Double features while we waited for the third one, and since then triple features. Its been over 10 times at least, maybe 20.
I can't be expected to view them seriously, they've haplessly morphed into comedy for me.

tsk tsk lisa. Show some respect for the great work of tolkien
I love those movies. But i lost my respect at the fifth viewing.
BAHHH
Lol
Yes indeed. By Lisa's fifth viewing Legolas seemed more of an ass. I noticed him sniffing more.
Even Lisa's first love Borimer seemed more thinck headed than the first viewing. Farimer seemed more feminine, but, thinking again, I'm not sure that he seemed any less of a woman the first time we watched it.
Aragorn, ugh, when i first laid uh eyes on him i knew he would be that sleazy cocky (ahem) handsome (UGLY) guy. But my degree of hatred for him was more increased later on. But, i am proud to say there was an original hatred. Yes, yes indeed.
If only Gandolf werent a sodomite.
Oh no. Sadly, I still love Boromir, as well as Eomer.
You guys never have anything good to say. LOTR is a excelent viewing, but maybe you shouldn't watch it so many times.
And Legolas never siffs around. But he does say: "The red sun rises, blood has been spilled this night." I've only seen 1 twice, 2 4 times, & 3 three times. And i still have respect for it.
Did i not mention how in love with it i still am?
Hmm, maybe in the full versions they include more Leg footage.
