It's a dangerous place. In the off chance that you live with your family and in one strange weekend; your Mum leaves home (on a questionable activity), two of your little sisters are recovering from sickness, one sister is high feverish for the third day straight and you woke up with the beginning symptoms of the flu...
you just might discover a few new things about it. All day long.
One was that no matter how many dirty dishes you wash, they will always be magically replenished by an unseen hand. I glared at the many unseen hands today.
The CD player was in constant use in the kitchen. You can't use headphones in that room. You have to be able to hear people's many requests over comfortably blaring speakers, and reply happily for them to get it themselves. People came in to eat, sit around, draw, and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of pots clanging with pans.
Mum when here, would usually always remark on the weekend that the kitchen "needed a good scrubbing!" Then she'd attempt to recruit some comrades by luring and trapping them in the kitchen with a cup of tea. Being in that room for awhile made me quite agree with her. But i only just escaped, so i'm not admitting that yet.
I did lure someone in to help me make a medicinal tea for the sick one. Thanks Ish. At the end though, I was beginning to feel as if the world revolves around food and all wars are started by who is on dinner dishes.

Sometimes I'm really happy we dont have a kitchen.
But not right now, since I'm so hungry I cant even crawl outside long enough to eat dirt like the rest of this town does.
Aw. You're missing out.
But i love hangin out in the kitchen. Its a good way to get away from school work. I just sit on a counter {a clean 1} and munch on an apple or sip a glass of milk, untill my dad guesses what i'm up to and sends me back upstairs!
The kitchen is my favorite plzce in the house. If I had the athority, I would make it my own persanol room.
I would just love to dig into the food that we stored up for survival. And make myself a special treat whenever I want. I can even take a bath i n the kitchen if I want. In my opinion, whoever owns the kitchen, rules the house. What would we do without th kitchen?
