We miss Chinese food.

I was always telling the friends we left behind in china that they'd never recognise us if they saw us again. This wouldnt be due to the suns rays changing us into toasty crisps, or our new ideas of fashion involving skin suits and fur, or ultra high pigtails, or drastic hair colour changes.

Nothing quite so mild. I told them next time they saw us we'd be rolling along the streets, snacks clutched in hands because we'd have loved the food in australia so much that we vigorously overate and became obese.

I'm usually right about these things, but not this time. If anything some of us are shrinking rather then gaining. But seeing as we dont have a scale, and arent likely to get one anytime soon, for all i know my vision could be completely off. Our clothes could all be abnormally stretchy. Our mirrors could be warped.

Also if we're all eating the same food and slowly growing, whoever would be the first one of us to point that out? It would be grading on the curve, literally.
Or like the frog who was put into a boiling pot of water and didnt realize he was being boiled because the change was so gradual.

Anyway, theories aside. I'm choosing to agree with my warped mirrors, stretchy clothes, and non-existent scale.
