Visitors.

They're pretty welcome in our squishy home. No matter how much the floor space looks drastically smaller and the ceiling looks like a lot of wasted space.

Without them we're lonely. All 6 of us. We're a large household for our neighbourhood. The singing, the raucous laughter, the heated debates, the deathly silences. I wish to sink into the cracks in the floor when i realize just what they might have heard walking by our home.

Just because we seem quiet occasionally doesn't mean we're even quieter in our comfort spaces. Besides, it's usually during the silence when we hear what they next door have to say. We usually reply to their odd outbursts with the raucous laughter.

So anyway, visit more. Fill up the empty spaces more often.
