This is adding to my lengthy list of psychotic characters:
Dumb Blog: Soames.
Charlotte Bronte's character Mr. Rochester. Played ever huskily voiced by Timothy Dalton. He growls. He's got a Lord and Master complex of wishing to own the heart and soul of the heroine.
But he's not the psycho, as much as i'd love to call him one. Her cousin St. John feels she would be useful as his wife and tries to marry her using the threat of the fires of hell as his courting ritual.
I believe he wins.
Such a good book though.
