W14 J2

Dad and I went for a little stroll down the street last night to see Eric Clapton play at the Members Equity Stadium. He put on a really good show. Mike would have loved it.
The other guitarists were especially impressive. Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramham Hall 2. Also Steve Jordan, Willie Weeks, Tim Cannon and Chris Stanton.
The sound was excellent. It more then made up for the distance we were from the stage. Not to mention the lack of binoculars. It was definitely easier to watch the screens then the 4 inch figures.

I don't even know anyone you mentioned, maybe only Eric Clapton.
And I definately will never go to a concert ever again. i went once, and I was right in front of the stage and it was so extremely hot and sweaty. Don't have to mention standing right next to the speakers.

Who did you go to see?

Leeloo, its funny that in those days people started with beatles haircuts, and ended up with long hair, and beards. People like Eric Clapton and George Harrison.

I didn't know you went to see eric clapton????!!!
I gotta start checking these blogs more often.
My ex band mate niki was doing a modeling job for some car show a few years back when I was still in china and they all got free tickets and back stage passes to the clapton show. AARGH! Hanging out in the "Lounge" with steve gadd and the rest of the band....I wish I had large knockers!

Sounds like you had fun.
