I have a little story for the Blog Watch section of the Family Blogs site.

Once upon a time there was an ATM on the corner of Guildford Road and some other minor street. It was the only one nearby. The next one was only about 30 minutes longer walking distance; if you don't die of heat exhaustion, get hit by any sort of moving object, or find yourself locked in a basement.

We religiously visited the precious object once a week every Thursday. We loved it for being there and in some small way it appreciated our appreciation. That is untill the dreaded day when a message appeared on the screen:

This ATM is TEMPORARILY closed for repairs.
Thank you for using this bank, we hope you'll not be inconvenienced in any way.

We waited, and waited. This was in about October. It finally got fixed the other day, that is, after we switched to internet banking. We had moved on. We loved another.

In December sometime, BlogWatch which i used to religiously believe in was cut off. This is the message i found on the screen:

Blogwatch is temporarily closed till further notice
due to insufficiant time to update. We hope to
return to action after christmas!

Ps. In its defense the Editor is a really busy being.
