We have a small house, so the sea of wrapping paper Christmas morning was to be expected, but we weren't exactly prepared. We drowned it in for a day or so & it graced our living room cubicle for a while.
We went to visit the Fathers side of the family around 12, and were viciously attacked by our relatives with water balloons, the hose, and ice... lots of ice.
We have to place the blame where it is due:
Our new Auntie rather likes altercations, she evilly lured my brothers with a cackle to the side while she handed them a few balloons with which to "get" a few other relatives. I saw Gabe rather fearfully and limply throw a balloon at eldest brother Sol, unfortunately the weapon bounced harmlessly off, but the ever retaliatory big brother threw it with mustered force, and it finally burst onto its victim.
You'll never guess what Sol did next.
He ran.
John came running up with customary eager beaver spirit and somehow missed a cousin, instead hitting his Aunt who was lounging on the grass with a very "don't you dare" look on her face. (verry suspicious)
Here we see what the brothers have in common, because when Auntie turned on the hose;
John ran.
After that it was one drenched two hosed fighting mess; there were disgusting hugs all round and i was used more then once very violently as a human towel.
I escaped the melee for the next hour or so because Ryan and were bonding with car juggling.
When i returned i was instantly set upon by the witch and the witch's sidekick who violated me with ice.
I'm sorry for the mental picture, there was just no other way to put that.
So, yes, Happy Holidays people. May you also be set upon. And may it be a hot summer when you next have ice down your;
Neck.
