Dashing through

Four weeks to go and we are already freaking out.
I'm not sure what changed with us. I think we've been touched by the sun. Among other things.

Christmas in China was a really easy, very relaxed affair. We'd have almost nothing to do with Christmas for the entire month, until just a few days before the 25th when we'd organize, invite and throw things around. Mum would disappear for a few hours, the house would be sparkly, people were constantly coming over to give us stuff, we'd have a massive chaotic gathering involving: friends, their friends, and friends of friends of friends (people walking by).

When it was over and we went back to being normal, slightly stuffed people without a care in the world.

It began 2 months early here. I'm not used to trying to work out my future that long in advance. If someone would oblige, we could use a coma.

Christmas used to be my favorite time of year, now its the short period of time between the end of Australian Idol, and the start of Big brother.

I'll be spending my christmas in a different state, so I guess I dont have to do anything.

Yeah by now, I'd have everyone's gifts all ready and I could lay back and wait for Christmas to roll around.
It was like this:
Dad: calendar or (as a last resort) chocalates
Mum: notebook
You: jewelry
Nicky: jewelry
Cherish: clothing

Something like that.
