23.11

We've been living here for 11 months. Already! I feel that we should examine ourselves and figure out exactly what we would have missed if by some twist of fate we found a time machine and Dad was Australian.
In ShenZhen we would have:

Moved apartments, because it always happened. Maybe to the 33rd floor this time. We do make our way up.
Lived with another family for at least a month or so untill they found a home.
I would have done another semester at Shen Da.
Nikki would have graduated to full-er time English teaching.
Cherish and Tams would have graduated to a whole 15 yuan allowance.
I would have had to choose one of the Xiao Mei Meis as my future husband.
Nan tou would have been eventually emptied out of all stock.
Friendlies would have moved away from us.
Wal-mart would have set up a room for us to stay in when we were not busy in the aisles.
We've missed three typhoons at least.
Nikki would have gotten purple extensions.

Marrying a xiao mei mei is like wedding a light bulb.
Nice and bright until it burns out.

thats all you can think of, eh? its more like rioting for more money. (i took most of those pictureses)
i thought we all preferred for you the fruit twins and not the vegetables (love me, love my vegetables), yeah, marrying a xiao mei mei is like marrying a vegetables. haha. and being pampered by their mothers with hands full of spring onions to anoint your face with.
you forgot the bakery, how we planned to become fat just so we could see what it felt like.
a personal project of mine was to learn how to spit flem all over the sidewalk like the locals. (becoming one).
-slowly watching our budgies either fly away, be murdered, or breed.
-if we're lucky, visit happy valley at least one more time (like we do every 8 years).
-expirience a revival of our food night activity.
-live a few more years without ever having discovered blogs. (though that would suit me fine enough)
