MSN

Ever noticed how having a fake "busy" sign has become popular? I was looking at the list today and i swear most everyone that was online this evening, all the way down the list included the little red "busy" signs.
Yeah.. right; alot of those people didn't have alot of time in their shedules to be online, the last thing they'd think of being was busy while clenching precious chatting minutes.

I have a thing where i make everyone talk to me first, and that way we get over the whole part where i would be ignored. However i did find it necessary to use the busy sign every once in a while, because there are only so many flashing windows i can handle.
But now that the trend has been set, i don't like it.
I'm definitely switching to "away."

Tsk tsk lisa! You should know that when most people r busy, they realy r. Like for instance; i play Adventure Quest, and chat at the same time. that is busy. and when people r away, they usually realy r.

I put this message up yesterday:
"This fake 'busy' sign thing i used to use all the time has really taken off."
A few minutes later, every single one was without the fake sign.

What more proof of conspiracy do you need?

Its definitely an epidemic, one that you've honed into a fine art.

But as you know, I pay no heed to these silly things, and annoy you anyway.

Ah ha, very interesting. Is that why u tend to be so quiet a lot of the times you're on chatting? Anyhow, i still used to send u tons off messages even when u were off line, so I couldn't care less.^v^
